How to use notification module
Notification
This manages notifications to passengers and agencies or outlets.
Notify Passengers
Select the Route , Departure date and time of the trip you want to send passenger notifications.
Select a Message Template and click the Get Message button.
Review the message and make any changes if necessary.
For Target, choose the manner the notification is being sent out --- Email, SMS and/or App.
Click the Notify button.
To check if the SMS notification service is working, you can send a test SMS notification by inputting a mobile number to receive the test notification and then click the Send Test SMS button.
Notify Agents
Input a Message.
For Target, choose the manner in which the notification is being sent out --- Email, SMS, and App (booking application).
Click the Notify button.
Message Template
To add a message template, click the Add Message Template button.
Input Template Name and Message.
To add data markers such as Trip Info, click the Trip Info button.
This will add ‘[tripinfo]’ to your message and will be replaced with the actual trip information when the message is sent out.
Click the Save Template button to save the message template.
To edit and delete a template, click on the corresponding Edit
and Delete buttons of the selected template.
Marketing and Promotion
Select the route, booking date from and to.
Input a message.
For Target, choose the manner in which the notification is being sent out --- Email and SMS.
Click Notify Now button.
History
Select the Route, Notified date range and click the Search button.
